Red Campaign

Social awareness project, Photography
2017

To raise some essential debates around everyday gender discrimination faced by Indian women, the Project Red campaign was conceptualised. The photographs of everyday fruits and vegetables were used as a metaphor for certain acts of violence, and the textual messages in the form of satire were linked to the photographs. Finally, the designs were printed on tote bags and carried around in public spaces. This project was done during my Bachelor studies at NIFT Kolkata and was mentored by Chhandak Pradhan.
